I HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE & I NEED TO BE SURE ALL CURRENT WSN PRESIDENTS & MEMBERS UNDERSTAND THE CHANGES. Please read a comment your commitment to make this project a success. As many of you know, Portia handles the backend infrastructure of WSN, it was built with you in mind. To help your chapters have greater visibility, growth, and engagement.
A platform by “itself” will serve no one or any purpose effectively. It needs People, to work the system. Just like setting up a Facebook account won’t guarantee you 5,000 friends and tons of business neither will your organizations grow by refusing to use the system in place and train others to do the same.
I like to introduce two new WSN Community Engagement Officers. Ebony Sis & Tasha DegreeTheir job is to get the WSN Website/Community ready for growth and engagement and wean the need to have 500 different/separate Facebook Groups/Twitter to communicate.
Please remember we are a Global Organization. That means on Facebook or not on Facebook women from all over the world should be able to connect with us, you, your chapters, events. They should be able to easily go to our website and find other women to do business with. We should be a community of resources as well as a networking pool to grow your organizations.
I feel confident that Portia & her team will do their part to tweak the website to uncover all the hidden jewels from within, but you must do your part to communicate with her team
Per her request, here is her first assignment & the only one I will give, the rest will be handled by those better equipped to get this done!
1. Name of Your Chapter (must be added to website, so when members register they can select what Chapter they are a part of.

3. Target Demographic WHO IS YOUR CHAPTER FOR?
(teens, drama, poetry, Katy, men, mothers, etc)

For progressive reasons I will not respond to inboxes about this matter. I trust that we all want to see expansion and growth for WSN, so I must let those that are hired to do a job complete it.
